• Search Committee revises and approves the Profile, and advertising and timeline; President approves all three documents

November 21 & 28

• Advertisements – online and print dates

November – early January

• RHPA recruits qualified candidates.  RHPA uploads candidate files to RHPA Secure Client Suite established for the College search

PHASE II

January 7-13

• Pre-screening interviews for top candidates are obtained by RHPA and candidate files are updated online

January 14

• Search Committee Chair receives access to RHPA Secure Client Suite to review top candidate materials online

January 22

• RHPA presents top candidates to Search Committee; Committee selects Semi-finalists; RHPA conducts reference checking for Semi-finalists

January 30-

February 1

• Search Committee interviews Semi-finalists at Rochester Airport

PHASE III

February 3

• Search Committee selects Finalists; RHPA conducts intensive due diligence on Finalists

PHASE IV

February 11-27

• Finalists are interviewed at the Geneseo campus

February 28

• Search Counsel reviews final due diligence with the Search Committee and  assists Committee in compiling final report

March 2

• The new Provost is selected

July 1

• The new Provost assumes office.
